Social Adaptation Strategies and Inclusion Initiatives for Foreign Students of Batangas State University

Socio-cultural immersion is an integral part of every student's learning. Integration to unfamiliar community crucial particularly for students who choose study overseas. The researchers employed a qualitative research approach. Descriptive and phenomenological designs were used observe the behavior participants semi-structured interview narrate respondents’ lived-experiences. Findings revealed that foreign Batangas State University experience socialization positively negatively. social challenges encountered by in terms academic performance are language barriers, medium instructions, communication collaboration towards inclination. There also rising problem relation preferences, common norms, values attributed local students. In adaptation Filipino culture, challenged understanding cultural diversities, hence, adapting preferences. Hence, implementation inclusion initiatives strategies was recommended including Include Me Now Project, Foreign Students Caravan, Universal Language University, #WeAcceptasOne – WeSite website portal platform
